Infant Learning
i started planning family outings ever since babe was old enough to start exploring the outside world. at one point my husband was worried that we were taking him out too much. and that we would get burned out. “it’s good for him,” i would reply. he’s stimulated by the activities going on around him. even if he can’t remember it, the fact that he’s being exposed to different stimuli goes a long way for his development (according to Professor Paula).
so i found this article today and it confirms my motive of exposing him.
my baby has already done so much as a 4 month old. he’s even completed the Summer Reading Program at the local library! yeah, i’m bragging but i’m proud to have exposed him to so many things already. it’s good for him!
here’s a visual of some of the things he’s experienced:
Seals @ 1 month

Joshua Tree National Park @ 1 month

historical sites like this one in Santa Cruz @ 2 months

Pirate Festival (i know, they’re not pirates but these guys were lost) @ 2 months

Summer Reading Program @ 3 months

The Tech Museum @ 3 months

meeting Astronaut Cagle @ 3 months

play dates @ 3 months

#end of bragging

how we celebrated our 2 year anniversary
2 years ago on August 1st we celebrated our love for each other with our dearest friends and family. first comes marriage then the baby in the baby carriage.. so 2 years later, we celebrated with our baby boy. it was a sentimental day as we showed him where mommy & daddy exchanged vows..

where mommy walked down the “aisle”..

to meet daddy, which is where they stood that day.

daddy showed us where he wrote his vows..

and we showed him around the hotel..

it was a beautiful celebration. he’s as good as a husband as he is a father.
